Peggy was part of the fabric of SeeAbility. She worked in the fundraising department at the Royal School for the Blind from 1980 to 1994. When she retired, she promptly joined the staff bank and became a volunteer. Peggy volunteered every week at the Epsom office from 2000 until a week before she died. She covered reception and helped in the fundraising department counting monies, folding raffle tickets, and stuffing envelopes. She was always cheerful and had stories to tell about her beloved cats. Beyond SeeAbility, Peggy was involved in voluntary work at the RSPCA, her local Stroke Club and with Epsom Hospital League of Friends. Peggy died peacefully at home.
